Sheez Jake is a fresh and earthy acoustic duo on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland who have a passion for heart and harmony in their music.

 

Having grown up in Australia in the 80's, Sheez Jake has focussed their sights and sounds on music from that era, reworking some of their old favourites from bands such as Australian Crawl, Paul Kelly, Mental as Anything and Hunters & Collectors, to name a few.  Of more recent times, artists such as Crowded House, The Waifs, Pete Murray and Kasey Chambers are included in their repertoire.

 

Whilst Sheez Jake has a love of 'home grown' material, they have a varied and extensive song list, including overseas artists such as U2, The Cranberries, Oasis, The Beatles, Tracey Chapman and many, many more.

 

Whilst maintaining a professional sound and stage appearance, Sheez Jake like to keep their performances fun and real, performing all acoustic music. They love what they do and appeal to audiences of all ages....sometimes even throwing in a traditional number like 'Waltzing Matilda'.....
